8/12/2022: The forgotten decades: Greek-German relations from the late 1950s to the 1980s

INVITATION

We are kindly inviting you to attend the presentation of the research program “The forgotten decades: Greek-German relations from the late 1950s to the 1980s” which was funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and was implemented through an academic partnership of Panteion University and Regensburg University. The program focused on four different research fields (migration of Greek “guest workers” to the Federal Republic of Germany, resistance to the Colonels’ dictatorship and Greek Gastarbeiter, German tourism to Greece since the 1950s and Germany's role in Greece's accession to the European Community) and produced an online exhibition and a Massive Open Online Course, both of which are aimed at academia but also at an interested non-scientific public.

The event will take place on Thursday December 8th, at 17:00, in the Auditorium Sakis Karagiorgas II at Panteion University (136 Syngrou Avenue).
