NOVA ISW 2020 - Beyond the traditional Erasmus: International Credit Mobility

The International Mobility Office of NOVA University Lisbon is pleased to invite you to our International Staff Week: NOVA ISW 2020 - Beyond the traditional Erasmus: International Credit Mobility.

The event, from the 16th to the 20th of March 2020,  will be a forum for ideas and experiences related to the International Credit Mobility. Our team is available to share with you any secrets regarding our projects!

NOVA’s international profile has developed naturally over the years and, more rapidly, in the last 14 years, with the emergence of several international mobility programs, to which NOVA has been successfully applying by itself or through partnerships with Portuguese or foreign Higher Education Institutions.

NOVA International Staff Week will be focused on the following topics among others:

  • Erasmus+ opportunities
  • Beyond the traditional Erasmus: the International Credit Mobility
  • ICM’s impact on NOVA’s faculties
  • How to manage blended mobility projects
  • Staff exchanges and Internationalization at home
  • Sustainability for the ICM projects
  • How to attract and involve potential mobility partners
  • Internationalization challenges

Half of its participants are from ICM countries and the other half will be from EU countries. The final and detailed program will be sent to the selected candidates in February .

We can accept max 2 participants per institution!

Who can participate? Staff from international offices, administrative staff and other staff dealing directly or indirectly with internationalization and with the ICM projects.

If you want to be part of NOVA International Staff Week, please fill in the SURVEY: now until the 20th of January. 

The results of selection will be disclose in the end of January- beginning of February.

The non-refundable participation fee is €250. The participation fee includes the costs for coffee-breaks, 1 welcome lunch, lunches in the campus, 1 farewell dinner and other social activities.

We will send the details for the bank transfer once the participants are accepted. Participants are expected to cover their own travel and accommodation expenses through the Erasmus funds for staff mobility or otherwise. 

The speaking language at NOVA ISW will be English.
