ICM Erasmus: one of the best things that ever happened to me!
At first, I was really scared of going through this adventurous new experience that I had never been through before in my life. For instance, English has never been a language I can speak completely well, so that made me really insecure. However, taking the chance of the Erasmus experience I discovered that my fellow classmates were from very different parts of the world, with English not being their native language either. This allowed me to feel more comfortable in a context of constant knowledge that I shared with these people, which made me feel entirely understood!
Finally, my Erasmus experience ended up being one of the best things that ever happened to me, with a lot of learned knowledge as a bonus.
Moreover, I also value and feel much affection to the professors and the program’s coordinator for the great dedication and concern in spite of the circumstances. I especially highlight the great quality of the courses in the department of anthropology!
I definitely hope to come back someday in the future.
