The Association of the Brothers Grimm (Brüder Grimm-Gesellschaft e.V.) receives students for work experience and practical training in the Center of the Brothers Grimm (archive, library and exhibition rooms) in Kassel, Germany according to the Erasmus+ Program from February 2024.
The following tasks will await the students of Panteion University, depending on suitability, interest, knowledge and skills:
- Preparation and implementation of language, literature and exhibition projects (f.e. fairy tales, legents and story telling all around the world; language and literature studies; myths and mythology; comparative cultural studies; problems of translation etc).
- Assistance with events and exhibitions.
- Collection and documentation of historical objects.
- Collaboration on publications.
- Planning and implementation of marketing campaigns
- Helping to maintain homepage and social media.
- Assistance with administrative and organizational procedures.
Requirements for the intern student are:
- Good English or French language level (minimum level B2)
- German language knowledge will be considered a plus
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm
- Willingness to keep an open mind and learn new things
- Technical knowledge of the most common electronic programs
- Flexibility to adapt in new situations.
