Job Description
Job: Assistant to Naftika Chronika’s editorial team
Where: Chronika magazine, Athens, Greece
When: As soon as possible; Our editorial team is always on the lookout for talented individuals.
Intern responsibilities:
- Write, edit, and review news articles, while ensuring accuracy and clarity.
- Collaborate with editors, journalists, and other team members to improve overall content quality.
- Attend and report on maritime industry conferences.
- Assist in updating the Naftika Chronika website homepage and social media.
- Stay updated on shipping-related topics to continuously improve the quality of our content.
- Collaborate with the editorial team on English language publications.
- Candidate selection criteria:
- Undergraduate/Postgraduate students who have completed at least the second year of their studies or recent graduates (within the last year).
- Strong command of the English language (written and spoken including grammar, punctuation, and spelling). C1 Level minimum.
- Familiarity with social media use and their trends.
- Strong attention to detail which can be further strengthened during traineeship.
- Ability to critically assess information.
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm.
- Strong interest in the sectors of shipping, finance, trade and commerce, and geopolitics.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and WordPress.
