This programme gives students the chance to experience life at UCL for 3 or 6 weeks over the summer and gain credit toward their home degree. There is a soft deadline for applications on June 1st but students who do not require a visa to study in the UK, or can obtain one quickly, may apply anytime before the start of their chosen Session(s).

Programme Outline

The UCL Summer School will take place in the heart of London in July and August and is divided into two sessions, each spanning three weeks (please see dates in the right-hand column). Students can choose to attend session one, session two or both and all students study one module per session. We are offering a wide range of modules from a variety of subject areas including Health, Economics, Law, Culture, Medical Sciences and Psychology. Each module consists of 45 contact hours and is equivalent to 4 US credits or 7.5 ECTS. All modules are UCL-approved and taught by UCL academics and most feature guest speakers and excursions to places of interest. For full details on modules please visit our website.

Other features of the programme include dedicated accommodation in central London and a series of carefully curated social activities and events to ensure students make the most of their time in the British capital!

Applications and Contact Information

Our programme is open to students who have completed one year of undergraduate study, including postgraduate students and recent graduates. Applications can be completed in full on our website and we will consider all applicants with a 3.1/4.0 GPA (US system). We are also offering a UCL Summer School English Language test for students who are unable to provide IELTS or TOEFL results.
