On Thursday, 5 February 2026, a four-member delegation from the French University Sorbonne Paris Nord, led by Prof. Sylvie Barrier, Vice-President of International Affairs, Prof. Despoina Sinou, Vice-Dean for International and Institutional Relations, Sandrine Lefebvre, Head of the Mobility Department, and Margarita Danilova, International Cooperation Officer. visited Panteion University.
The representatives met with the Rector, Professor Christina Koulouri, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and International Relations, Professor Maria Meng-Papantoni, Associate Professor of the Department of International and European Studies, Maria-Daniella Marouda, and the Head of the Directorate for the European Union and International Partnerships, Dr. Eleni Vasileiou.
The purpose of the meeting was to expand cooperation between the two institutions, both within the framework of Erasmus+, beyond the four bilateral agreements already in force. Regarding the enforcement of the collaboration, the importance of signing a Memorandum of Understanding was discussed, with the aim of facilitating joint activities and research programmes involving faculty members, students, and administrative staff.
Within the context of the meeting, an additional presentation was delivered on Sorbonne Paris Nord University and the activities and networks, including the coordination of the European Alliance UNINOVIS.
Both parties committed to the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding, as well as to exploring opportunities for further cooperation.
