On Friday, 13 February 2026, a delegation from the French institution Université Paris-Saclay (https://www.universite-paris-saclay.fr) led by Prof. Frédérique Coulée, Vice President for Research in the Humanities and Social Sciences, and Ms. Katerina Spyropoulou, Deputy Attaché for Scientific and University Cooperation at the French Embassy, visited Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences.
Representatives met with the Rector, Professor Christina Koulouri, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and International Relations, Professor Maria Meng-Papantoni, the Dean of the School of Political Science, Prof. Despina Papadopoulou and the Head of the Directorate for the European Union and International Partnerships, Dr. Eleni Vasileiou.
Université Paris-Saclay is one of the leading institutions in Europe and worldwide, covering the sectors of Science and Engineering, Life Sciences and Health, and Humanities and Social Sciences, while their scientific policy closely links research and innovation, and is expressed in both fundamental and applied sciences to meet the major challenges facing society.
Within the context of the meeting, matters of mutual interest and potential areas of collaboration were explored. Initially, the focus was on establishing bilateral Erasmus+ agreements in academic fields offered by both institutions, with the aim of facilitating joint actions and programs involving faculty members, students, and administrative staff. Views were also exchanged on expanding opportunities for further cooperation.
